I was studying Chemistry and also did a PhD in science before joining SAP in 2000. I started as a developer in the oil and gas industry solution. Soon I was working with customers supporting and consulting them. Then the topic grew broader towards other industries and more organizing the support process.
The quality topic and project management on a broader scale lead me to our company wide introduction of lean principles for our software development and SCRUM and the main method. I trained teams and mangers during the roll-out. The demand for a backlog tooling triggered our introduction of Jira on a big scale in 2010. Since then I covered several roles in this area covering quality management, scrum master and now product or better tool owner of SAP Jira.
