Emil Sjödin is the Co-Founder and CEO of Malmö, Sweden-based Refined, a site builder that transforms Confluence and Jira into custom intranets, documentation sites, support desks, and more at more than 5,000 companies worldwide. He started Refined in 2009 with a friend after an IT consulting gig when he realized what he built for a client could be useful for any business using Confluence. A developer at heart—he graduated from Lund University with a degree in computer science— Emil’s focus is on product these days. When he’s not working, you’ll find him with his wife and two sons, sampling vintage French wine, jogging, or downhill mountain biking.
