Principal Security Architect
Ben is a Principal Security Architect at Atlassian where he drives the policy-as-code implementation, and establishes secure development lifecycle practices. He also promotes ‘zero touch prod’ - a way of keeping humans away from customer data, in part by limiting standing privileges. Ben’s published an O’Reilly book on security testing, taught at a few universities, and contributed to a bunch of OWASP guides. He’s currently taking advantage of Atlassian’s “Team Anywhere” approach to remote work to visit various cities (and AirBnBs) across the USA.
