Jonathan Doe is Atlassian's Head of Global Channels responsible for managing Atlassian's channel strategy, programs and operations. Atlassian's go-to-market approach is unique and does not have a traditional field sales team or a professional services organization to compete with partners. Martin believes in recognizing partners based on their technical aptitude and delivery of solutions instead of the traditional booking metric to judge partner success. This has been paramount in Atlassian's success as partners are an extension of the business and not competitive to internal organizations. Martin has built multiple channel programs from scratch including at Alfresco, where he was GM of Americas and responsible for all field operations, and at JBoss, which was later rolled into the Red Hat channel program.
