5 years since the introduction at Amadeus, Bitbucket Data Center supports almost 7,000 users, 220 million lines of code, and 1,000 pull requests per day trigging builds on the CI/CD platform. With 90% of software sources migrated to Bitbucket from multiple SCM tools, Amadeus is moving towards new challenges: infrastructure & configuration as code, and DevOps.

Bitbucket as a Service will allow to scale up and overtake limits of Amadeus data server model by implementing a federation of Bitbucket instances spawned in PaaS (Kubernetess, Openshift) all over the world.

“Bitbucket as a Service" is a major evolution to improve the development experience by getting the most of CI/CD platform everywhere inside Amadeus.
