Thomas Brill (47) is executive director of operations at ESL since 2017. Before his start at the global leader of esports he managed and co-produced over 1.200 shows as director of Events for SMG in Germany and mainland Europe. From small theatre size productions up to mega events in Stadiums, from conferences to big activations at major trade show has he proven his skills in event- and project management. From 2008 until 2014 he has been general manager of one of the most advanced science centers in Europe – the Odysseum in Cologne. He launched the attraction and was fully responsible for all operational and promotional activities and build a team of over 120 employees.

At ESL he at first has been responsible for the activations at Gamescom (Cologne) and E3 (Los Angeles) and now is in charge of all project related operational processes. The development of ESL IO, the central project management based on Jira, he started in 2017.
