Software development isn't a one and done process. It's a cycle where each pass adds new features and innovations, continuously improving the product. Software testing follows a similar loop, or flywheel. Teams create test cases and plans based on new requirements, author and run new tests, and analyze results to find gaps to drive what to test next. Driving the momentum of this continuous cycle is quality intelligence, which ensures testing efforts align with business requirements and needs. Measuring user story code coverage ensures teams focus on what is truly critical, enabling them to optimize testing efforts, eliminate inefficiencies, and deliver higher-quality software. In this talk we will highlight solutions, built on top of Jira, that enable development teams to accelerate their testing to deliver better software products, faster, and with higher quality. We will show how key approaches including quality intelligence, AI-driven test development, and the seamless merging of testing into the Jira environment are essential to successfully ensure quality is a part of the cycle of innovation.
