Geoff is a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Atlassian, where he has worked on smart features within Jira and Confluence for the past 8 years.
His recent endeavors have seen him plunge head first into the dynamic new world of AI, exploring and obsessing over how to leverage our unique datasets to build generative AI features which are of a high quality while delivering exceptional value to our customers.
He also holds a PhD in Astrophysics, with his research taking him to the South Pole in Antarctica, in search of the clearest, coldest & driest observing sites on Earth.
