When you think about a Control Tower, the first thing that may come to mind is air traffic controllers and the aviation industry. Shaun Kamler doesn’t work in aviation, but in his role as Head of Control Tower in Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services (BFS) group Shaun leads the enterprise planning & prioritisation processes.
Macquarie’s BFS group comprises Macquarie’s retail banking and financial services businesses, serving customers through its personal banking, business banking, wealth management and deposits channels.
It’s an exciting time to be part of the Macquarie BFS team, as they bring the culture of technology companies to financial services to deliver a leading digital banking experience in the Australian market.
With experience across retail banking, wealth management, technology, not-for-profit organisations and manufacturing, Shaun is able to transverse between client management, business objectives and supporting organisational ecosystems. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), a Master of International Business (University of Melbourne), is a certified lean six sigma master black belt and is Agile certified. Shaun has a proven track record of delivering revenue growth, leading successful teams and applying structured approaches to creating long-term organisational value and is looking forward to sharing Macquarie’s learnings at Team24.
