Charlie is Atlassian's Head of Design. He is a Design Executive with more than twenty years of experience at some of the most important technology companies in the world. Charlie has led teams across the full spectrum of design disciplines and domains. From long-range hardware R&D projects to speculative design and innovation teams, to global-scale consumer mobile experiences, enterprise software, as well as consulting and service delivery. As a result, he brings a unique interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspective to Design Leadership. Charlie is also an active educator in the fields of Design Strategy and Interaction Design - most recently having been a Lecturer at California College of the Arts. Outside of design, he loves surfing and lives in the Northern Rivers region of Australia.
