I have been managing the Atlassian stack since 2009. I started back on Jira 3.x and have gone from managing server to a very large Data Center roll out at Charter Communications. We launched Jira/Confluence Data Center in 2017. Over the years we have encountered outages for a wide ranging number of issues. To be more proactive we developed multiple different methods of monitoring the applications in order to prevent outages from occurring as well as to capture relevant data when an outage has occurred.
