Mitali is an engineering leader with over a decade of experience in backend infrastructure. She started her career building software for Cisco routers, and then moved on to PayPal to build tooling to manage their Cloud Infrastructure. For the last 5 years, she has been working on developer productivity tooling at Yelp. She currently leads the Backend Platform group within the Engineering Effectiveness organization. She is passionate about empowering developers by providing them with efficient tooling that is also a joy to work with. She drives her group to use a thoughtful, metrics-driven approach to measure and iteratively improve the development experience.
