Stan is the General Counsel of Atlassian, where he leads the Legal, Policy and Government Affairs, Sustainability, and Social Impact teams. He joined Atlassian in 2015, and has served in several leadership roles during that time, including Deputy General Counsel and Head of Commercial Transactions.
 
Prior to joining Atlassian, Stan practiced technology transactions at Charles Schwab and spent several years in private practice at Gunderson Dettmer. He also sits on the boards of Business Software Alliance and the Atlassian Foundation. Stan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
