RJ Scaringe founded Rivian in 2009 to redefine the future of transportation through high-performance electric vehicles. Today, Rivian produces the critically acclaimed R1T, R1S, and the upcoming R2, while also fulfilling Amazon's historic order for 100,000 commercial delivery vans and pioneering autonomous robotaxis with Uber.
In 2025, RJ expanded his vision for the physical world by founding Mind Robotics, an AI-enabled industrial robotics company, and he co-founded ALSO, an electric micro-mobility company spun out of Rivian. Across these companies, RJ focuses on building diverse teams obsessed with tackling the hardest problems in engineering, manufacturing, and sustainability.
