Amanda Babb is a Principal Solutions Engineer on Atlassian's Enterprise Strategy and Planning (ESP) team, where she helps organizations connect strategy to execution using Atlassian's Strategy Collection — including Focus, Talent, and Align. Based outside Houston, TX, Amanda partners with enterprise and government customers to solve some of their most complex challenges around strategic portfolio management, organizational alignment, and operational visibility.
Before joining Atlassian, Amanda spent over 12 years in the Atlassian Solution Partner ecosystem. As a Principal Consultant, she implemented Atlassian solutions, led a team of solutions architects, and spearheaded the firm's Enterprise Strategy and Planning specialization. She also built and led an Enterprise Agility Community of Practice, drove go-to-market efforts to demystify Jira Align and the Strategy Collection, and served as head of the training practice — including helping launch the first class with Atlassian University.
A self-described "recovering agilist" and certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) and Scrum Master (CSM), Amanda brings a rare blend of deep technical fluency, hands-on implementation experience, and strategic business acumen to every engagement. Whether she's running a proof-of-value workshop for a Fortune 500 account, architecting complex deployment models for government agencies, or enabling partners like Deloitte and Slalom on Strategy Collection, she's driven by the belief that the right tools — paired with the right thinking — can turn organizational chaos into clarity.
When she's not helping customers build their strategic operating models, you can find Amanda roasting a whole duck (albeit terribly, by her own admission), geeking out over cars, or channeling her core values of joy, curiosity, and relentless improvement into whatever challenge comes next.
