Scott Farquhar is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Atlassian, a collaboration software company that helps teams organise, discuss and complete shared work. More than 182,000 large and small organisations, NFPs, and government agencies across the world, including companies like ANZ bank, Spotify, Twilio, Mercy Ships and Visa use Atlassian’s collaboration products to help their teams work better together.

In 2015, Scott helped spearhead Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. 10,000 companies have now joined.

Scott was the youngest person ever to be awarded the ‘Australian Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2006 by Ernst & Young alongside Co-Founder and Co-CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes. In 2016 both Scott and Mike were awarded Australian Financial Review's 'Australian Business Person of the Year' and in 2017 Forbes named them on their ‘Global Game Changers’ list.

Outside of Atlassian, Scott co-founded a private investment fund, Skip Capital, which focuses on fast-growing technology companies, with a particular interest in the intersection of big data and health. Scott holds a BSc (Business Information Technology) from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
