Amit Puntambekar is the Head of Platform Engineering at Atlassian. In his role, he is responsible for building and scaling the Atlassian platform that powers the company's product portfolio and ecosystem offerings.Prior to Atlassian, Amit spent about nine years at Meta where he most recently served as their Senior Director for their Virtual Reality platform. He also led engineering for Video Machine Learning in the Facebook App and was a key leader in building the company’s Video Platform to scale video processing.Previously, Amit was the co-founder of QuickFire Networks, which was later acquired by Meta. Amit holds 10+ patents in computer science.
