Jovana is a Software Engineer and a Technical Evangelist with a strong background in performance, DevOps, platform engineering and developer experience. At Atlassian, she played a key role in optimising Jira for large enterprise migrations, enhancing performance and scalability for major cloud tenants. Later, she joined the cloud infrastructure team, focusing on scaling internal platform services and improving their reliability and security. Recognised for her contributions, she was a finalist for Software Engineer of the Year at the 2022 Australia Women in Digital Awards, and a finalist for Developer category for the Women Leading Tech Awards in 2025. Her passion for innovation, commitment to cultivating a healthy tech culture, and dedication to inspiring others drive her to influence meaningful change within the industry, as she mentors young women both internally at Atlassian and externally.
