Shamik Sharma is a highly experienced technology leader with a three-decade career defined by building and scaling innovative products and organizations. He is currently the Head of Product for ITSM at Atlassian, based in India, where he is responsible for defining the strategy and vision, and delivering innovation across the ITSM product lines.Before his role at Atlassian, Shamik was a co-founder of Cult.sport, where he helped build India’s largest fitness brand, amassing 2 million users and generating tens of millions in annual recurring revenue. Prior to that, as the Chief Technology and Product Officer at Myntra, he was instrumental in scaling the company from a $30 million business to a $1 billion fashion e-commerce leader.
Throughout his career, Shamik has held key leadership positions at a range of notable companies, including VP at Lytro Inc., SVP of Engineering and Co-CEO at RockYou, and Director of Engineering at Yahoo. His expertise spans a wide array of industries, from e-commerce and digital media to enterprise software and consumer electronics.Shamik holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
