Amit Puntambekar is Reddit’s CTO, overseeing the company’s technology organization and leading its consumer engineering vision and strategy to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences that users love. He’s responsible for the teams focused on scaling Reddit’s platform, accelerating product innovation through AI and machine learning, and strengthening the systems that power Reddit. Amit brings more than a decade of engineering leadership experience and a strong track record of scaling consumer and business products. Prior to Reddit, Amit held leadership roles at Atlassian and Meta, where he helped scale platforms, advance product development, and drive AI initiatives. Earlier in his career, he co-founded QuickFire Networks, which was later acquired by Meta (then Facebook). He holds more than 10 patents in computer science.
