Chirag leads Software Collection (SWC) at Atlassian, where his team builds tools that help software development teams do their best work. The SWC includes products like RovoDev, Bitbucket, Pipelines, and Compass—each focused on improving developer productivity, DevEx, CI/CD, and the use of AI in software development.Before joining SWC, Chirag founded Neurelo, a cloud-based, API-first generative back-end platform that makes it easier for developers to work with databases. Earlier on, Chirag led the core database product organization as VP of Product at MongoDB, co-founded Zero Systems, and held leadership roles across VMware, HP Software, EDS, and Loudcloud.With over 20 years in enterprise software, he’s spent his career at the intersection of data infrastructure, cloud platforms, application management and developer experience. He’s passionate about building products that make complex systems simple—and helping developers turn ideas into impact.
