Marina Chumakov Rozenblat is the Chief Scientist for Data Management and Analytics at CNA and subject matter expert in data management, cybersecurity, uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), aeronautical information, and aviation applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). In fourteen years of support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), she has led projects in cybersecurity for drone ecosystems, AI and ML concepts for aviation, data governance of air traffic information exchange models, and systems engineering of legacy system modernization. These project involve consideration for federal agency requirements, relevant standards, policy, regulatory, and executive guidance analysis, international strategy, and integration of industry best practices. Dr. Rozenblat leads diverse skilled teams of multiple contactors to deliver on research and analytical projects for the FAA to increase the efficiency, safety, and security of National Airspace System operations.
Prior to joining CNA, Dr. Rozenblat was a fellow at the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, where she studied ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and served as a scientific consult for total joint replacement device submissions. Dr. Rozenblat has a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
