Ben Homer leads enterprise software modernization efforts for the Department of the Air Force Chief Technology Officer. In this position he oversees DAF-wide strategy and policy related to cloud, software, data, AI, and Cybersecurity with an aim to accelerate delivery of cutting edge technology to the warfighter. He previously led Strategic Communications for the Department of the Air Force Office of the CIO, and served for three years at Air Force innovation unit Kessel Run leading partnerships and strategic innovation initiatives. Ben has more than a decade of experience in private sector media and technology, including as Head of Global Customer Experience for Livestream, and in operations roles with CBS Interactive and Major League Baseball Advanced Media, He holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University, a MA in International Affairs from The New School in New York City, and a MS in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University.
