James Hunt served in the United States Army from 1999 - 2004, he achieved the rank of Sergeant (E5) while specializing as a Signal Intelligence Analyst and Linguist. After his time in the service, he went on to become a software developer for L3 Communications from 2004 – 2009. For the next nine years Mr. Hunt worked with Agency Consulting group, ASRC Federal as a Principal Systems Architect. In 2020 Mr. Hunt joined Ascend Integrated as a Systems Architect and he has continually provided integral solutions to complex issues. He now serves a Principal Consultant for Contegix, and CTO of Ascend (a Contegix company). James Hunt is a certified Scrum Master, Atlassian Trainer, and has extensive experience working across multiple DoD based projects focusing implementing and training DevSecOps tools, including the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).
