Navin Vembar spent nearly 20 years in as a federal employee or a federal contractor, starting as a GS-7 writing Java and ending as the CTO of the GSA. After that, he co-founded a data analytics startup that provided epidemiologists human mobility statistics to help predict the spread of COVID-19. At Atlassian, he is the Senior Principal Engineer over its streaming platform.
