Emily is the Vice President and Head of Design for Agile and DevOps where she drives the customer experience across Jira Software, Jira Align, Jira Product Discovery, Compass and Bitbucket.

With over 20 years experience leading design teams globally at Amazon, Microsoft, Yell UK and Xero, she loves to bring together research, great design and strategy with the customer at the forefront. Emily holds a BA from Middlebury College and a Master of Communication from the University of Washington. When she’s not at her day job, she can be found in Auckland, NZ with her husband and 2 daughters, either swimming in the ocean or on the yoga mat.
