By reducing Jira customizations by 99%, Fidelity Investments significantly improved performance and usability. With 30,000 users and 5,000 Jira projects, this was no easy feat. The team will discuss how they won over customers and how these changes improved those customers’ opinions of Jira.

Netflix isn’t the typical company and its cloud migration isn’t the typical story. The journey to Confluence Cloud started routinely but slowly went sideways. Layers of data cruft from a decades-old, on-prem install; gaps in the migration tools; and migration testing that felt more like a slow spiral to nowhere led to a crisis point. In this session, you’ll hear how new tools were developed on the fly to close the spaces between and how that led to a migration low on drama and high on likes.


From new users to Confluence pros, the most common questions we get are about creating sites that are easy to navigate and increase team productivity — but are also scalable. How should I structure my Confluence site? Should I make a new space for that? How do I find the right content? While there aren’t simple answers, we can empower you with a UX-driven approach you can use to build the most efficient and effective Confluence instance for your teams.

In early 2022, the Atlas team had a loneliness problem. As a fast moving team, we tended to split down into small workstreams of one or two people, but retros continually highlighted loneliness and isolation with this approach. With General Availability approaching, the team decided to take a novel approach to solving the issue — the Uber Stream: one team delivering three projects simultaneously. This is their story.
