The Call for Speakers for Team ’26 Europe opens 20 May 2026 (07:00 CEST) and closes 10 June 2026 (23:59 CEST). Submissions will be reviewed June–July 2026, and we’ll share an early look at the Team ’26 Europe agenda in July 2026 (with more sessions added over time). Team ’26 Europe takes place 6–8 October 2026 in Amsterdam (and online).

If you’re selected to speak, you’ll receive a complimentary full conference pass. However, travel and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the speaker.

If you are a current Atlassian employee, please refer to internal staffing guidelines.

If accepted, you will have the opportunity to deliver your unique story to a wide audience and connect with your peers on a new level. Additionally, all accepted speakers receive a complimentary pass to attend the event and are assigned a dedicated track lead from Atlassian. Your track lead will partner with you throughout the preparation process, offering guidance and feedback to enhance your final presentation. We’ll also be offering virtual sessions with a speaker coach and a robust speaker resource center.

During the Call for Speakers, you as the submitter will select which of the proposed formats (breakout, panel, theatre) best aligns with your content.

Please note: The session type selected during the submission process serves as a proposed selection, indicating the ideal duration and format for your content. Should your submission be accepted for the event, Atlassian reserves the right to adjust your content to an alternative duration or format that better aligns with the overall event agenda. This ensures optimal scheduling and content delivery for all attendees.

Yes, if you’re selected to speak at Team ’26 Europe, you won’t be on your own! Atlassian will pair you with a dedicated track lead/partner and provide access to a speaker resource center to help shape your content, refine your narrative, and prepare for a strong presentation.

No. The session type you select is a proposed choice that indicates your preferred duration and format. If your submission is accepted, Atlassian may adjust the duration or format to better fit the overall event agenda. This flexibility helps optimise scheduling and deliver the best possible experience for all attendees.

During submission, you’ll provide your session title, abstract, and speaker details, plus information that helps attendees choose sessions: the Atlassian products/solutions you’ll cover, the intended audience, and the learning level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). If your session includes a customer speaker, please include their name, title, company, and email so their participation can be reviewed.

To increase your chances, focus on a real customer story with clear, practical takeaways. Strong proposals are specific about the challenge, the solution, and the impact for attendees.

Please note that selection is highly competitive and not guaranteed.

The most helpful supporting materials give reviewers a clear sense of your story, speaking style, and the impact for attendees. Strong examples include:

  • A 3–5 minute video of you (or your speaker) walking through the proposed talk track
  • A clip from a previous speaking engagement
  • Additional written context that goes deeper on the customer story or solution
  • A published customer story or case study
  • A relevant white paper or similar asset

You can upload up to three supporting documents. Please make sure any links or files you share have the correct access permissions so our review team can view them.

A strong proposal clearly states the problem or opportunity, tells a concrete, customer-focused story, and highlights specific, practical takeaways for attendees. We’ve pulled together examples that show what we’re looking for in successful submissions here. Adding extra resources, like a short Loom video or links to supporting documents, can also strengthen your submission by adding clarity and depth.

Submissions that are service and product pitches will not be accepted. If you're interested in marketing your solutions, please email sponsorship@atlassian.com.

For sessions in standard session rooms, we typically provide two downstage confidence monitors so you can see your notes. Expo floor theatre sessions don’t include confidence monitors, but you’ll be able to use a laptop on the podium to reference your speaker notes. Final AV details will be shared in the Speaker FAQ and readiness materials closer to the event.

Absolutely! Every year we receive so many great submissions and are only able to accept a very limited number for the event agenda. We would love the opportunity to showcase the amazing content in our future events, webinars, or blog posts.

If you’re interested in delivering your presentation in another format, or being a part of a future marketing campaign, please be sure to check this box in the submission form.
