Beyond Connect: How AppFox is moving Compliance for Confluence to Forge
This is the story of how we started the migration journey for Compliance for Confluence Cloud from Connect to Forge.
Compliance for Confluence is one of AppFox’s most successful apps, providing data classification and sensitive data detection to hundreds of enterprise customers. Released in 2018, Compliance is a mature product with established functionalities as well as a product backlog full of feature requests, so we were understandably skeptical about investing time in migrating our app from Connect to Forge.
Yet, when we saw how easy it is to adopt Forge from Connect, we decided to embark in the migration journey and we were instantly amazed by the new opportunities available to us, especially Rovo.
We will describe the concerns we had before starting the migration, why we finally decided to take the leap and how we wish we did it sooner! You’ll want to start the same journey by the time we will have finished.

Say goodbye to clunky UI, Build sleek apps with ease with UI Kit
Since its debut at Atlas Camp 2019, Forge UI Kit has evolved with a robust set of pre-built & customizable components. Join James and Mel as they demonstrate how UI Kit enables you to build apps that align with Atlassian’s design standards, ensuring a seamless, intuitive user experience across both Atlassian products and your own app.
Attendees will learn about the latest features in UI Kit, the UI kit roadmap and be empowered to build their next app with UI kit.
Since the early days of UI kit, developers have loved how easy it is to assemble beautiful and functional UIs. But too often, developers hit a ceiling when trying to build more complex experiences. Now, UI kit lets developers do more - even incorporating custom UI with the new frame component. See how UI kit has evolved in leaps and bounds.

App Editions: Driving Business Impact, Key Learnings from EAP, and the Road Ahead
App Editions has been one of the most anticipated features for marketplace partners, offering the ability to segment apps into distinct editions tailored to diverse customer needs. As we approach general availability (GA) near the time of Atlas Camp, this session will provide partners with actionable insights and guidance to capitalize on this feature.
The talk will cover:
- Overview of App Editions: A high-level explanation of how it works and how partners can build editions for both existing and new apps.
- Learnings from the Early Access Program (EAP): Real-world examples and takeaways from the EAP to help partners optimize their strategies.
- Roadmap and Milestones: A walkthrough of key upcoming steps, including GA timelines, customer self-serve capabilities, and the process for tagging apps as advanced or free editions.
- Partner Feedback: An interactive segment to gather partner feedback on packaging needs and identify opportunities for further support.
By addressing both the "how-to" and strategic applications, this session aims to empower partners to drive business growth with App Editions while ensuring alignment with Atlassian’s future enhancements. And also drive awareness for the GA.
